This policy explains what information The Patch Desk collects when you visit the site, comment on a review, or use the contact form.
2. Contact form data
If you use the contact form, the name, email, and message you submit are sent to us via Netlify Forms so we can respond. This data isn't sold or shared with third parties.
3. Comments
Comments are powered by Cusdis, a third-party comment service. Cusdis does not require an account to comment, and its own privacy practices govern any data submitted through the comment widget. No login or personal account is required to comment on this site.
4. Analytics
The Patch Desk may use an analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which reviews are read most. This data is aggregated where possible and isn't used to identify individual visitors.
5. Advertising cookies
If the site displays third-party advertising in the future, the ad provider may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or your ad provider's opt-out tools.
6. Embedded video
Reviews may eventually embed YouTube videos. Embedded videos can set their own cookies per YouTube's privacy policy once that content is live.
7. Children's privacy
The Patch Desk isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
